Feeling better today. Water came back on at 9am yesterday.

Frozen fog again this morning, and it might warm up to 42 (5.5) by this afternoon.

Light snow falling....not much but just enough to make for a slippery rush hour. However, snow will turn to rain later this morning as the temperature rises to 37.

Woke up Saturday morning to a dusting of snow on the ground but it turned out to be a mostly sunny day. Temp got up to about 32.

Currently a very chilly 19 at 8am. Looking at a sunny day and a high of 36. Hoping it starts to warm up soon as I've got to load up a small PA and my acoustic in about an hour to go entertain at a children's Christmas party.

That sounds like a very good deed, Rob! Way to go!

Been doing it for about 6 years now. It's a lot of fun!

Yeah, we've got 40 (04) around here still, with drizzle, showers and partial clearing (whatever that is). Or as George Carlin used to say, "Periods of darkness, insterspersed with periods of light."

Mostly cloudy today with some scattered flurries. High 32.

I loved George Carlin's humour...I might have to watch some youtube tonight.

Yeah, Carlin was a genius. Today we have had a lot of fog, giving way to drizzly overcast and a high of 44 (6), going back into rain tonight.

Hey, it's not raining! We've got a high of 50 (10) and a low of 38 (03). At least there is no ice to scrape off the windshield and nothing to shovel off the driveway!

I do get to change the battery on my truck though, it died.

Hey at least you didnt have to change the battery in the cold. I find batteries usually last 5 years in these cold climates. My son's, my wife's and my car are all 2011s. My battery died one morning about 3 years ago when the temperature was around 0 degrees F. Froze my freakin' @$$ off. Last year, my wife's battery started acting up in January (6 years old). I jump started it and brought it in to the garage and let them change it. This past September, I just bought a new battery and brought it over to my son's place. When he asked why, I told him that I didn't want to get a phone call at 6:30am on the coldest day of the year to hear that his car won't start. His 7 year old battery was living on borrowed time

We had a dusting of snow overnight and we are getting some light rain this morning so the snow is slowly washing away. Cloudy this afternoon with a high of 41....hmmm....that almost sounds like golf weather!!! NOT!

Yeah, my battery in the truck was just over 5 years old, so right on schedule. Last week it started sounding like it was laboring, and I knew it was going soon.
Today we've got 52 (11), not too bad, with clouds. The rain should return tonight.

Showers this morning tapering off this afternoon with fog rolling in tonight. High 45.
BTW, now that John has left the group, I've stopped displaying celsius temps (although we are fully metric here in Canada)
